Danny Jansen (45), a culinary pioneer, began his journey in a small Dutch town.
At 14, he discovered his passion for cooking, which led him to Michelin-starred restaurants and eventually to television. With 14 cookbooks and 15 years on Dutch TV, he has now turned his creative focus to ceramics.
Danny Jansen crafts his ceramic art in an inspiring workshop where individuals with employment challenges are given the opportunity to develop their skills as well. His first ceramics collection, the Vet Lekker-collection, is a tribute to Dutch street food culture. This collection consists of 18 unique pieces, handcrafted and finished with gold, symbolizing the affordability of snacks and the connection between the Netherlands and Asia.
The centerpiece of the collection is a golden French Fry, surrounded by beloved Dutch snacks like the Frikandel and Kroket, each artisanally prepared.
